Property Databank Ltd. prohibits bribery and corruption in every form, in every jurisdiction in which we operate. This policy applies to all directors, employees, contractors, agents, and third parties acting on our behalf.
Principles
- No bribes — offered, promised, given, requested, or accepted, in cash or in kind.
- No facilitation payments — even where locally tolerated.
- No political donations from company funds without Board approval.
- Gifts and hospitality only within the limits below, always disclosed in the register.
Gifts & hospitality register
Any gift or hospitality valued above GHS 500 — offered or received — must be logged in the register within five (5) working days and approved by the Compliance Officer. Cash and cash-equivalent gifts are prohibited at any value.
Public officials
Interactions with public officials, including the Lands Commission, the Ghana Revenue Authority, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the courts, are conducted transparently through the official channels published by those bodies. No fee, tip, or gift is offered outside those channels.
Third parties
Agents, introducers, and joint-venture partners undergo integrity due diligence before appointment. Contracts include anti-bribery representations and audit rights.
Reporting
Suspected breaches must be reported to the Compliance Officer at compliance@pdbglobal.com, or anonymously via the whistleblowing channel. We do not retaliate against good-faith reports.
Sanctions
Breach of this policy is grounds for dismissal and may lead to criminal prosecution under the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29), and the Office of the Special Prosecutor Act, 2017 (Act 959).
